This list includes lighthouses which have either been transferred or sold by the Coast Guard, or those which are under the Stewardship of an organization with a long-term lease on the property from the Coast Guard. Lights which are still owned and completely under the maintenance of the Coast Guard are not included. In those cases in which the Stewards is different from the owner, contact information is provided only for the Stewards organization. 

Privately owned lighthouses which are serving as the owner's home are not included in order to protect the owner's privacy. The list is formatted alphabetically by Lake for ease in locating the contact information for a known lighthouse.
